SAVING LIVES THROUGH PROPER CPR, FIRST AID AND
Southwest CPR & First Aid was started in 2008. Our goal is to educate and save lives. Please call us today to schedule a class. The life you save may be that of a loved one or someone close to you. Remember, in the event of a cardiac emergency every second counts!
Betty Connor, Owner/Instructor
I began my journey into CPR and First Aid training as Health & Safety Manager of the local American Red Cross. I opened Southweast CPR & First Aid after the Red Cross closed their Yuma office.
This is more than a job to me, this is a personal mission. In 1999 I lost my mother to Sudden Cardiac Arrest, a loss that could have been prevented with proper CPR training and the use of an AED. No one helped her, because no one knew what to do! My goal through Southwest CPR & First Aid is to educate the community on the importance of CPR training.
Brandi Reyes, Instructor
Brandi started her career in medicine in early 2001 with the CNA program. She went on to graduate with her Associates in Nursing in 2008. Between 2011 and 2017 she attended Northern Arizona University to complete her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing, Masters of Science in Nursing and then her Family Nurse Practitioner degree, making the deans list several of those semesters.
Brandi has a passion for teaching as well as an extensive background in cardiovascular disease, intensive care and emergency medicine. She understands the critical need for spreading knowledge about CPR in our community.
